    Merry Christmas Rose!

  5. I live on e 63rd! Love your pics, merry christmas (from a fellow jew)!! xx

  6. We're following each other on Twitter, but this is my first time coming to your blog and commenting. The food looks great, and the sweater looks warm. I hope you had a great Christmas!

I noticed in a previous post while skimming the first page of your blog that you have a random blonde streak. I wanted to note that I also have one. It's in the back between everything so not too easy to see, but I still feel silly have it amongst my light brown/dirty blonde (depends on who you ask) hair. I'm glad I'm not alone with this. :)

  7. WOW - I can tell you're having an AMAZING holiday!
Can't wait to hear about the presents :)
    Merry (late) Christmas, dear!

  8. I always had a fetish for knuckle reaching I have a fetish for nailpolish that perfectly matches your warm fuzzy knuckle reaching sleeve.

  9. oh don't worry, tat, now it is!

  10. thanks for commenting, Jenna :)
woohoo yay for blonde streaks!!! i'm sure yours is beautiful.

  12. I wish my Dad wore cashmere. I'd steal it!

and all your pictures are awesome.
plus mac and cheese with truffle oil and mushrooms????

I'd die too, happy that is.

  13. Rose,

I just discovered your blog and what a fantastic resource it is! I will continue to visit and follow you because I find wisdom on your uncomplicated and honest approach to recovery and life.

Plus, I really like the layout! I'm so horrible with computers, it pains me to not be able to have a pretty blog like yours :(

I hope you're enjoying Happy Christmas and keeping warm. I have friends over from NYC and they're stranded here because their flight back keeps getting cancelled. But I'm feeding them chocolate cake to keep them happy :)

  14. This is such a happy post. :)I don't really know why, but it made me really happy. Your foods look delicious, your sweater looks fab (I LOOOOOOVE SWEATERS) and seeing the photos of the city are just so bright and cheery to me. :) I hope all is well!

  15. haha yes absolutely---nyc is such a small town :)
    happy new year!

  16. This is such an incredible compliment. i'm fascinated by what i have read of your blog too, i must say. and chocolate is DEFINITELY the way to keep some jet-lagged travelers happy and quiet ;) have a great new year!
