my reader is at 354 unread posts
i haven't flossed, gone to the gym, or talked to my best friend (hi, Lauren- i miss you!)in almost a week.
i really want to write a post, no, scratch that- a thousand posts for you guys, but i'm exhausted and this weekend was crazybusy and i've had a lot going on school- wise (and a LOTALOT going on in my head- note the title of this here blog)

so i basically feel that if i were to offer you guys anything right now it would look a little like this:

here, won't you take some itchy, dried out grassy, dirt stuff?

but i'm gonna go ahead and take a wild guess that you don't want that.

i have mucho going on but wanted to pop in and say hi anyway.
I know, i know, the unwritten rule of blogger-dom is "if you don't have anything interesting to post, don't post anything at all", but this is my blog and i can post/cry if i want to, and since when am I one for obeying the social structure, right?

hope you all have a wonderful start to your week, and i hope to see you soon!

Sorry you've been so busy... I definitely know how anxious I get when my google reader sky-rockets and all I want to do is post on my own blog and catch up on everyone else's. Try to remember that we all love you no matter how frequently you post, and lovely inventions like google reader exist to let us know when you've updated :P

How am I doing? Wonderfully! I've actually made some friends at school (gasp!). Living in residence is such an experience and I am so glad I did it. I'm struggling a little bit of course, but everything is going pretty well.
    Thinking of you!

  2. Hi there my friend! It's so nice of you to pop in and give us a little update.

I hope things are slowing down for you this week...although that seems unlikely! In any case you can post whatever you want, whenever you want. And I'll be here to read regardless. :)

  3. Rose,

You know, sometimes with a blog we feel like we have an "audience to entertain" and we must keep feeding them posts. But, in reality, a blog is a very personal, individual space, almost selfish, where we only owe it to ourselves to be honest and post exaclty when and what we want.

Don't feel pressure. We're here as a loyal crowd, who just want to "read" you well, happy and relaxed!

Good luck with school-work and everything else!

  4. I've just started following your blog, but I like your posts :)
And you're right that it's YOUR blog and you can post about whatever you want, when you want. Ha, I'm sure my posts aren't all that interesting, either.
My week has been pretty good. I hope yours is going well, too.
I also hope we get a more detailed post from you soon! No pressure, though. haha Enjoy the week

    I'm actually doing great :)
I spent the last few days at my Grandpa's house... and he's just my favorite person in the world.
Love him SO much, we had SO much fun ;)

  7. Hey there beautiful,
I would love some grass--> coming from you it's a hug in a dusty field. Don't worry about not blogging-it's your blog and you can blog as often or not as you'd like with WHATEVER you want to say-peanuts, paper or peppers! It's always so lovely to hear from you in whatever form it is. Take care! Try not to stress too much and can't wait to read some more about your life whenever that may be. <3

  8. Good luck with everything you have going on, Rose! I will be thinking of you and hoping that everything is going well; I am glad that you popped in to say hi. :-) I am doing great- just got back from a service trip to Nicaragua- learned a lot, challenged myself and stepped outside of my comfort zone, and ate to my heart's content. Take care girl! <3

  9. My reader is crazy and the only reason I still look through them is to mark most as "read", and the others I skim through to get some LA news. Actually, most of the blogs on my Reader is LA-based so I can get the inside scoop and inspiration for articles.

School is crazy right now, and it's only the first week. You and I both, Rose. :-)
